Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
missing money
i was fired from my job for stealing i am a restaurant manager and am responsible for the money at the end of the day my former employer says he has evidence and private investigators working on this for him i saw a detective outside my home tonight i have 3 children young i am worried he says he wants restitution can he have me arrested should i be getting a lawyer can i work this out without appearing guilty he has unlimited funds and high powered people working for him do i fight it what conseqences do i face if we lose
