Motion for speedy trial
What if he asked his lawyer to file a motion for a speedy trial and his lawyer said no because their no statute of limitations on a homicide? What other motions can he file

Maybe he needs to hire a new lawyer. I would charge $50K up front to get involved in a case like that, mainly because of distance. You should shop around NYC.
