Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
Motorcycle stolen
Hello, My motorcycle was stolen in front of my apartment building. I parked it on the street right in front of the main door of the apartment and also in plain view of the security camera outside, knowing the fact that it records. There is also a concierge. I asked for the recordings of the camera the next morning and they said it was not recording last night for some reason. My question is.. are they partially responsible or fully responsible for the loss of my bike? Can i sue them? Thank you

Re: Motorcycle stolen
Unlkess your lease agreement contains a clause guaranteeing the safety of your property, you will not be able to sue your building for failing to prevent the theft of your motorcycle that was parked on the public street. Contact your insurance company and work through this with them.
