Notice of Claim

If a person is in jail for 14 years and found not guilty. Can he sue for damages?

Is there timeframe under which he can sue?

You might have a cause of action against somebody, but from what little information you have provided it is difficult to tell. There are statutes of limitation that vary according to your cause of action. Keep in mind that just because you were exonerated after 14 years in jail does not automatically mean there is a lawsuit available.
