Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
In NY state I was arrested for Possession of a weapon for a switchblade. It was an A misdemeanor when I was arrested and was turned to a felony after because I have a previous felony conviction. does the statute of limitations still apply to this situation or does the arrest prevent it?
