Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
Is the offer good
I was charged with stolen merchandise. The credit card was mine but the cops said that the stripe was changed. The clothing, bags, and shoes was valued about $5,000. The DA made me an offer today for 3years probation and reduced from a felony to a misdemeanor. Is this a good offer or should I take it to the pre-trial?

Re: Is the offer good
You need an attorney to look at the evidence about the altered credit card before you want anyone to advise you about an offer. You facing a criminal record for life and you need advise with all of the information, not a paragraph with extremely limited info.
You can call me at 516/746/4747 to discuss the case or come in for a free consultation.
