Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
on-line defamation
I was sexually molested by a doctor before a surgery and he is currently being investigated by the NYS medical misconduct committee. I announced in a blog that I was sexually molested by this doctor anonymously so maybe others can report him. Is this legal?

Truth is a complete defense to a libel (defemation) claim. There are other defenses as well such as the common interest priviledge.
You may have an cause of action against the doctor. Based upon the facts you gave, its probably a one year statute of limitations so if you have not already consulted with an attorney, you should do so right away.
