Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
I was originally charged with several felony counts of fourth degree possession of a controlled substance. The felonies were amended to misdemeanors. I plead to one count of seventh degree possession of a controlled substance but upon a background check the court has me pleading to all four counts. I know what I plead too and it wasn't four counts. So what can I do to rectify the situation.

You will need an attorney who can make an application to the court to review the plea. You will be required to order the minutes of the hearing where you plead to the reduced charges and an amended record can be entered.
