Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
I owe restitution on a criminal case as a stipulation for a sentence of 6 months in jail and 5 years probation. I violated that probation went to prison and am now off of parole. almost 2 years later I am still in court for restitution and they keep dragging out the process without holding a hearing because the documents and wages I make show that I am indigent~ what is my recourse?
