Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
if a parent is charged with incest with a teen what are the and was suppose to haooen 25 years ago what are the laws and what type of law and attorney is needed

If the parent has actually been arrested and a case is pending, he would need a criminal lawyer. If it just a claim or a threat of going to the authorities it probably is a bluff and the should decline to discuss anything about what happened. If the authorities are actually formally investigating this case he should get a criminal lawyer immediataly.
