what is third party contact?

When there is an order of protection against you the court tells you not to have ny contact with such and such person, and no third party contact - third party contacts simply means you can not contact that person through someone else... for example if it is your friend then you can not have another friend try and contact them, or a relative, if someone does contatc them or harass them on your behalf then you are held responsible...
