Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
What happens to people convicted of Grand Larceny ?
I was working for a company and was doing Fraudulent (?) refunds and also I transferred almost 430.00 onto a prepaid greendot card. (No banking or credit involved). Im 17 and soon to be 18 on the 18th of Aug. All together it was calculated that I stole 1039.90 from the company. I have to be in court on the 23rd. I have no kind of record, and im sure that, me REALLY needing the money and not using it for recreational use wont matter. I have no record in using drugs or drinking alcohal. Im willing to pay the money back any way possible. Im unable to spend time in jail even though that is the price to pay for this kind of act. I dont know what to do but the police officer said that this was called Grand Larceny. Me being the fact that I have no record of any sort, pleading guilty and also willing to PAY BACK THE MONEY tooken, what will happen to me?

A competent criminal defense attorney would probably be able to negotiate an appropriate disposition which would not require jail time,if your facts as stated are correct. You may contact my office @ 7188340087 and I would be happy to discuss this further.

Generally what yo uwould want to do is hire a good attorney who will work out a deal for you, one which will be most beneficial to your situation. If the facts you've given me are correct I'v been able to work out deals with no jail time at all for several previous clients in similar situations.
Please feel free to contact my office regarding this or any other matter. #2127098303
