Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
how can a person who has been indicted for perjury, fraud, and money laundering
be given his passport back temporarily to travel out of the united states ( to israel and zurich)?

The reason they take the passport is to prevent you from leaving the country. Ask your lawyer to try to get it back for you.
