Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
pertaining to a restraining order and employment
If you get hired at a job, and you have a restraining order against someone that works at the job but did not know that they worked their when you got hired, is the job allowed to suspend you without pay due to the employee who was stalking you making a big deal. are you allowed to get fired from the job. what can you do if the person whom you have the restraining order against does not get penalized.

In your case, the employer made a decision not to allow a situation which would result in a criminal violation of a restraining order. This termination falls within the discretion granted to employers in how to best operate and maintain a safe work environment.
