Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

Petit Larceny

I am a 20 year old male attending college.

I was caught taking a item from a food

store worth $12.50. My parents are able

to pay for lawyer, I would rather not tell

them about it. I want this to be disclosed

so it doesnt effect my future. I was

wondering how much a lawyer for a case

like this would cost me. Need advise fast,

thanks alot.

You're charged with an "A" misdemeanor, Petit Larceny. Not a serious offense, but something you need to take seriously. Please call to discuss fees.
