Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
petty larceny - how to defend oneself
I am 20 years old, and I was caught outside a department store by security with merchandise I didn't pay for from that store and another one in the mall. I was planning on returning these items, as this was a first time event, I did it on a whim, and I felt guilty. How can I present my case in court? What are my options?
