Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
Petty Larceny
I am 23 years old. I took $150 from the company I worked for, and when asked, confessed to taking it. I signed a restitution form before being arrested on petty larceny. I paid the $150 back two days later, but I still have a court appearance to make. What kind of court proceedings/ruling/verdict should I expect and what should I do to best prepare for it? This is the first time I've been arrested for anything.

Re: Petty Larceny
You are facing a potential jail sentence and a permanent criminal record. Why would you think of going to court without a criminal defense attorney?
Do not proceed in court without an attorney to represent you.
