I believe I have spoken to someone recently with your same problem. A competent crimnal defense attorney can likely negotiate these charges to either an ACD or a violation with no permanent criminal record and no jail time. An immigration specialist should be consulted to determine what affect either of these outcomes will have on your immigration status. I would reccommend separate attorneys for each aspect of your situation to maintain objectivity .You may contact my office @ 718-834-0087 for a free phone consultation.
We have substantial experience handling these types of cases, however, we would need some more information before making a complete and proper determination. You are welcome to contact us for a free consultation.
