I need to have more details than this to properly advise you. Why was the case dropped? If in fact the State or Federal Government dropped the charges, you do not have to go to prison.

If you took a plea then the case wasn�t dropped it just ended with your plea. If the case was dropped (i.e. it was dismissed) then there would be no reason for you to take a plea. More information is required to answer your question, but if the case was dropped then you aren�t going to jail. If you pleaded guilty then the terms of the promised sentence would apply.
