Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
If the police use a confidential informant to get a search warrant and the confidential informant is lying why i cant confront this confidential informant if i take this to trial my lawyer said i cant confront this person.is this true.

Under the law, the police can rely on a confidential informant as long as they do not know or have reason to believe he is lying and you have no right to bring it out at a hearing.
