What is the typical sentence for possession of a controlled substance - 7th degree(cocaine). The accused was convicted of driving while impaired (alcohol) just over 2 years ago.

Possession of A Controlled Substance 7th is a misdemeanor with a maximum sentence of one year in the County Jail. The sentence you could receive is based on prior convictions and the jurisdiction where the act took place.
