Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
Prison Time
It is a simple question. If a person gets life in jail do they have a chance of parole after a certain amount of years.

I do not practice in New York. However in Rhode Island an individual who recieves a life sentence is generally parole elegible in 20 years
