Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
Probation
If someone commits a crime(sexual assult) on a minor. This person pleads guilty, but instead of jail time this individual is placed on five years probation. This person was told that they cannot travel outside of the U.S. My question is , once the probation peroid is over, can this person now travel? Can this individual now apply for citizenship?
I hope that my question is accepted
