Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
can a probation officer make probation longer when haven't violated just couldn't finish a class that he didn't start until 3 months before getting off probation so impossible to finish year of classes?

Can they? yes. Can you sue the probation department for being arbitrary and capricious? sure. Its will take a couple of years and $20k or so. Just continue to bow down and wait for it to end.
