Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
Proceedure
I was given an accusatory instrument then had to post a 250 dollar bail. I was never read my rights or photoed or finger printed was this done correctly

This procedure is called "stationhouse bail".It usually takes place for not so serious violations or misdemeanors.You probably have also received an arraignment date where your rights will be given and further process will be discussed.
