Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
public urination
I was issues last night a pink summons for public urination.
Is it possible to pay a fine and not appear to court?
Is this affecting my green card application?

Re: public urination
you HAVE TO appear on the date your summons tells you to appear. This will be a court room setting and you will appear before a judge. They will provide a lawyer for you BUT i would suggest that since you have an issue with immigration you hire an attorney to assist you with this case... it will be a minor fee, and important in order to ensure yur immigration status is not affected in any way... also accepting any plea offer could potentially push your application back five years... so please mae sure you maethe minor investment and hire a lawyer for your court date.
our office handles cases like this and as i mentioned i would highly suggest you contact us. you may reach us at 212.709.8303 during normal business hours...

I handle matters such as yours on a daily basis. You must appear and I suggest with a competent criminal defense attorney. I have negotiated a small fine with no criminal record for most clients in a similar situation. Please contact my office @7188340087 for a free phone consultation.
