Public Urination + Mistaken ID
A few days ago I received a pink summon in nyc for public urination. Code 16-118-6. The police officer said I have to go to court and plead guilty and pay the fine. I don't have a problem with this, my problem is that by mistake I gave out my brother's ID instead of mine so technically he is the one with this responsibility now. He doesn't live in the US. Neither do I, I am a student. Should I go to court as my brother or should I say I mistakenly gave out my brother's ID? Another thing is I won't be in the country on the day of my court date. Can I take care of this before? What are my options? I don't know what to do!
