Stealing time is stealing and with it comes the potential of penalties. Cheaters can readily be fired (and I have seen it done) and even criminally prosecuted. If you are unionized, don't think, esp these days, they may be able to do much, even a big union in a big employer in and near your zip I am filing a multi-million $ federal suit against this week (union, disability carrier, and company) and they failed to protect the worker from egregious acts by the company and dis carrier-I doubt they would stick their necks out for criminal acts).
