At the completion of the federal case, after all the defendant's attendance obligations with the court have been met, (i.e., he hasn�t skipped), you must request that the criminal lawyer representing the defendant or another lawyer representing you, prepare and file a "Satisfaction of Judgment" (or its equivalent) with the state county court where the property sits. That is so that the federal lien that has been placed on the house may be removed.
