Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
Okay I was put on probation in my hometown after that I transfered to syracuse due to household situations I was wondering if I did a background check will my conviction show up in my home town or where I live now?

A criminal conviction will go on your record in Albany and is discoverable in the entire state. It is also able to be seen through an FBI check nationwide. Once you have a criminal record, it is for life in New York State.
