Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
I just received a notice in the mail and cant make any sense of it. It says Notice to pursuant to C.P.L. 710.30, Demand to Pursuant to C.P.L. 250.20, and Demand to Pursuant to C.P.L. 240.30 all in the top right corner. I looked all of those numbers up and am now even more confused. I know it pertains to the UPM I received, and probably has to do with the fact I needed it adjourned as I am in college and the UPM happened at home. Based on the descriptions it seems they may want to take me to trial? I'm really not sure what the letter is getting at.

You haven't given enough information and you really shouldn't in a public forum. You need to take this to an attorney to interpret it for you or even the clerk of the court that sent it.
