Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
i received a two pick summons' (1) open container (2) trespass in movie theaters. What happened was me and my friends finished watching a movie, went to the parking lot, and as we were ready to leave, we were stopped by cops. My friend on the left of me was pouring me a cup of alcohol (the reason being for them stopping us). Considering that i have a printout of the movie theater address and receipt id for the tickets, should i plead not guilty, no contest, or guilty. If i appear in court, will the judge let me speak to present the printouts as evidence of me(us) not trespassing?
