Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
i was recently charge with criminal possesion of marijuana in the 5th degree .i had less than 1 gram and paraphernalia on me. this is my first offense. i know there will be a fine, but how will this effect my record when applying to universities, jobs etc? what do i need to know before i appear in court?
