Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

I recently received a $100 summons in the NYC subway but am not a US citizen (I'm a Dutch citizen). I went down to the Transit Adjudication Bureau to try and fight my case (as I really didn't do anything wrong). I am now out of New York and my case was left unresolved. Now my question is: Did they take a photocopy of my passport? I forgot whether they did or not and whether I will get in trouble when trying to enter the United States again. Please help me!

I'm not clear on how you went to TAB and left your case 'unresolved' unless you didn't actually go before the judge to have your case adjudicated, but you probably have an outstanding bench warrant for your arrest. This could affect your ability to re-enter the country or obtain a visa.

If you would like my office to assist you in resolving this without you having to return to the States, please contact my office via email.

As far as I know they do not photocopy passports You should try to write to the TAB, with a copy of your ticket and pay the fine or come back and fight. The ticket is for a non-criminal offense, so you would not have a criminal conviction. However, if you wanted to become an American citizen, it could cause you a problem.
