Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
I recieved family court papers sent to me, my ex is taking me to court and in the court papers, states that i do drugs, which he knows is a false statement.. Can i sue him for this?

No, unless the statements are libelous, and that is very difficult to prove in this situation, you do not have grounds for suit. That being said, you need to get an attorney and defend against these accusations vehemently. You need an experienced family law attorney.
