Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
How do i remove an order of protection off my boyfriend once the case is closed, or if you can not do that can you switch it to non offensive

Was he convicted of something or do you mean that the court has granted the order that you applied for? Usually protection orders are for a certain period of time and then they expire if you don't ask for an extension. From the few facts you have given, it sounds like the order was granted, but you don't feel you need it any more. In any case, you should speak with an attorney about the facts of the situation as soon as possible.
