Re: Removing items in criminal history
You cannot remove a felony conviction on a criminal record unless the conviction is nullified by a court order as a result of a post conviction motion to set aside a verdict, or an appeal that sets aside the conviction with or without prejudice. Only in cases of misdemeanors can a person apply for, and obtain, a certificate of civil dispensation which does not serve to eliminate the criminal conviction but does restore certain civil rights that would otherwise be forfeited.
