Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
i was resntence five month ago to post release supervision. my attorney was suppose to summit my appeal, i chose to summit one myself, i also wrote to the court clerk the district attorney the appellate lawyers and to my lawyer. it has now been five months i have not recived a response from any of the parties that i wrote to. how due i know that my appeal was summitted and when will i be contacted by an attorney? or the courts

I suggest that you go personally to the appeals clerk in the court which sentenced you. They would have a record of your Notice of Appeal if it was received.
