Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

Re-Trial

9 Years ago I was raped by a State Trooper.A child was possibly produced from this or she is my husband's.Since then he has retired but has continued to harass me about the child. In November of last year I had him arrested for criminal tresspassing at my mother's house. In the first trial he tried to make it look like I had an affair with him. Is there any law that makes it so the next time I go to trial, the rape can not be brought up in court, so the crime at hand can be concentrated on and we can get a conviction and go on with our lifes? I do have a D.A. but, I just wanted to look into what I can to. Will you need more information? If so please let me know.

Re: Re-Trial

There is the rape shield law but this is probably not available to you as it deals with his prior alleged affair with you as opposed to your affairs with others. Does the DA need you for trial?
