There is only one way to seal a record in New York State and you must qualify for youthful offender status. Short of this, your record is yours for the rest of your life and can not be expunged.

To have a criminal record expunged, go to the court where you were convicted -- ask them for a Certificate For Relief From Disabilities. The Court Clerk will give you this form and instruct you on how to proceed.
