Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
My roommate and I were subletting a room from a house. About a week ago the person whom was the main rentee said my roommate took some things from her. The items were located in the room we were renting and a police report was filed but no charges were filed after which we were kicked out by that person. Now a week later the person is saying she is going to send the police to get me, I am assuming for the previous police report and the fact I owe the person this month's back rent.

your roommate can still be arrested for stealing but you cannot be arrested for not pay rent because that is a civil matter.
This person does not have the authority to send the police anywhere. She can make a complaint and the police can act upon that complaint. If she has an order of protection, her complaint will be used to arrest you. You should consider talking with an attorney as soon as possible to protect yourself and your roommate.
