Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

I have a school crime scene and now we are arresting people I need help.

I have 8 suspects and I don't know if it is one perp or more. I can arrest others for different crimes becides the murder but I am having trouble with figuring out what is obstruction and what isn't or if it is something else. Can anyone give me help with knowing where to find differences?

First of all who are you? what is your position? it really does make a difference as to how you're going to proceed... purchase a copy of the Penal Law, it will cost less than $20 and will be critical if you're involved in the criminal law system.
