How difficult is it to seal a misdemeanor record in NY criminal court?

This is not dificult. It is made by motion on notice to the court which originally heard the case.
The key issue is that the petitioner (you) must show the sealing is not contrary to the interest of the community.
My fee to draft the motion, submit the documents to the court, and argue the case before the judge would be $250.
