search warrants
when police enter a home with a search warrant are they supposed to show the warrant to the home owner

If asked to see the warrant they should provide the home owner with atleats a visual inspection of the warrant. Unless, in specific circumstances such as where the police chase someone into an apartment, or home, in the heat of the chase and at this point need not even have a search warrant... overall however, if the home owner is present and requests to see a copy of the warrant that person should be shown a warrant.
