Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
what is the sentence for felony aggravated contempt, which he violated an order of protection, and caused physical injury?
Along with this felony aggravated contempt charge, he received misdemeanor assault.
This is the second time he has violated the order of protection, and the first time he received
five years probation, which he was still on when he had gotten these past two charges.
So I am assuming he also violated his 5 year probation, which he was only on for a few months, since he just got out of jail in november. So pretty much I am asking, what is the sentence he can receive for all of this. By the way I am the victim.
