Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
i was sentenced to 2 years with 1 year post release supervision with a maximum expiration date of August 2020.I went to the shock incarceration program and did a total of 8 months in state prison.I was released on April 30,2009 as my conditional release date.On May 19th 2010 parole did a search at my house and found guns.My parole release date was for April 19th 2010.How is it possible that i was still on parole after my year was up?
