Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
sentencing in criminal justice system-new york state
i am doing a report for my intro to law class and i'm lost. it says to examine the state's sentencing guidelines and report how the courts reach a decision in a guilty verdict. i have looked everywhere, and i cannot find any useful information. please help me

Give me a call tomorrow or leave me a number to reach you at over the weekend and I will try to help. NY has a hybrid of Mandatory Minimum sentences, range or indeterminant sentences and determinant sentences. There is no guidelines such as in the federal government or Virgina.
