Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
Sentencing for a first time offender on a weapons poss. chg.
I am curious to know the maximum penalty for a person convicted of possession of a weapon or firearm in all feloneous classes. Especially for first time offenders.

Re: Sentencing for a first time offender on a weapons poss. chg.
Max. penalty for CPW 3rd degree(loaded firearm), not in home or place of business is a class D felony-7 yrs. max. PL 265.02(4).
Max. penalty for CPW 2nd degree (intent to use against another) is a class C felony-15 yrs. max. PL 265.03
