Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
Sex Crimes
My ADHD & LD 17 yr old son is under investigation for endangering the welfare of a child and use of a child for sexual performance. The incidences occured on a cell phone, him and some girls, ages 13-16 swapped nude photos. I know this is a serious offense and probably wil be charged, what can happen to him?

Re: Sex Crimes
The charge could be a felony charge, punishable by over one year
Of imprisonment. There are many defenses however,
Given the facts. I would suggest getting a good
Lawyer if he gets charged.

Re: Sex Crimes
Of course I agree with Mr. Gonzalez.
It is best to retain a lawyer as soon as possible both to negotiate with the police/ district attorney, and to gather information.
Your son may have a problem, but he certainly does not need a sexual criminal record which would follow him for the rest of his life, as well as possible incarceration.
