Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
i was shot in the back with a 12 guage shot gun 2 years ago i never told who it was cause i was scared i think i should be awarded pain and suffering im hurt for life and can i still put the person away

You can still inform the police of the identity of the person who shot you.
The charges will be determined by the District Attorney in the county wherein the crime was committed.
